The oldest written declaration of the Gospel message is found in the book of Job. It is found in this very personal statement, Job made about himself:

For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth;
26 And after my skin is destroyed, this I know,
That in my flesh I shall see God,
27 Whom I shall see for myself,
And my eyes shall behold, and not another.
How my heart yearns within me! (Job 19:25-27)

In other words, Job was saying:

1. I have a Redeemer
2. My Redeemer lives
3. He will be standing, at the end time
4. On that day, I will see Him
5. This is my heart’s desire

On this unique Resurrection Day, while we find ourselves at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Gospel is the Good News that brings us peace and joy. My prayer is that you and your loved ones, just like Job, will have the message of the Gospel deep within your hearts.
